A lot of people here have been wondering if I've let the country, since I have grown so scarce. Well, both Nettus and I have been very much present, but our presence has been very much limited to the office, where we have been working long, long, long hours these past few weeks. It's a fun challenge though, and we get to do things we never thought possible for us to do before!
Ah, so I've been learning the ropes from Renate lately. Work so far has included lots of office work, trying to work out a good relationship with the computers in order to not only understand the multiple databases but also learn how to handle them correctly. But work has also included traveling north to Eden's field station and starting to use cars a lot bigger than my ordinary choice. 
Never thought I would make such a great collector of manuals and written instructions, but I have!
Learning from the expert - it took some time to learn how to download the weather data but I think I got it right!

One of the reasons I haven't been able to blog so frequently lately is work! But I'm slowly getting forward at least, which is the good news!
...and on our way to a village up north, we stopped to watch some storks! There are a lot of them this year. Wonder how long they'll be staying before they fly elsewhere... Until it rains again, in a year or so!
