Showing off a Nigerien horse rug

I didn't buy the horse rug (too expensive for an unpaid volunteer) but I enjoyed it so much that I had to take a picture and post it for the world to see! And one day, maybe I have two of them custom made for the horses and give them to myself as a birthday gift for years to come!

It is lovely and lively! How much do they cost? Maybe you could start an export business. The horse industry in the more developed countries is "Big Biz"!

Ishtar - Greetings from Connecticut. I've just joined the blogosphere and discovered your site. What wonderful things you are doing with the Eden Foundation! I invite you to check out my new blog, Teachings of the Horse, at victoriacummings.blogspot.com. I will continue to visit yours and plan to make a contribution to the Foundation so you can continue your efforts. Happy Trails!

@Photogchic & szavanna: Big thanks!

@Ljb: I'd definitively start an export business if I didn't already have my hands full with volunteer work, but if you're seriously interested in getting one, you should contact my friend Liv using her name at liwsverk dot "se".

@Victory: I'd check out your blog first thing when I get my hands on a decent Internet connection! I'd love to pick up some tips to develop our two mares. I'm not the most experiences horse owner but we enjoy them so much and are always eager to learn more!

@Fasy: I so agree (seeing I'm wearing the same colors...)

I tried to contact your friend Liv but was unsuccessful -- Mailer Daemon said not an email address or something. Got another suggestion?

@Nneka & RR: Thanks for the feedback!

@Ljb: sorry, it should be livswerk - not liwsverk.

Hi Ishtar. My name is Rachel and I wanted to ask you about possibly using some of your photographs for an e-newsletter for the non-profit that I work for. IS there an email address I can contact you with?
THanks!
