My blog esthergarvi.com has been hacked!

After having blogged at http://esthergarvi.com/ for more than three years, I woke up this morning to find that someone had successfully hacked into my blog and deleted it. Just like that.

During the same night, my sister's blog http://www.blog.visionpioneers.com/ was also targeted and has also been brought down.

Meanwhile, I will keep posting here, at my previous spot http://ishtarnews.blogspot.com/ where I first discovered the joy of blogging.

Warm greetings,
Esther Garvi

I am sorry to hear this Esther. Yet you have the right attitude. Life goes on. And you have a blessed life.

Esther,
I just had an attempted hack as well. I am so sorry they succeeded in doing you harm with the mischief.
Mine came from an IP address in Latvia.
I am amazed and full of wonder at how people find their "fun."
Now I do not know what to do, as security has never really crossed my mind, except to prevent untold instances of plagiarism.
I am now on high alert.
I am thrilled to know you still have your other blog, and that this will not stop you.

I find it curious that your blog got hacked at the exact moment that the news about the Somalia "Famine" started gaining press coverage.

I don't know what the real situation in Somalia is. I'm not saying it is a scam, because I'm not there to know what is really happening.

I do know that the media reports sure do remind me of a previous Famine scare.

I'm glad I found your old blog active Esther. I enjoy reading your posts.
